Calendar Competition

 

Would you like us to feature your photo in our 2020 Calendar? Maybe you live near a picture-perfect field full of combines during harvest, drilling or ploughing.

We are asking for photo entries for use in the Openfield 2020 Calendar, the theme is quite simple and should just feature farming.

Each month a winner will be selected, for publication in our 2020 calendar. The winner will also receive a copy of the calendar and the image will be shared on our Twitter feed.

Terms and Conditions

  1. All photos must be taken in the month that it will feature in. Failure to do so will result in the photo not being considered.
  2. Photos entered must be taken in the UK, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man.
  3. Photos will be judged on suitability, quality, composition and originality.
  4. Only one entry, per month, per person, can be entered. Entries must be in colour and ideally in landscape. All electronic images must be of high resolution.
  5. You must be the sole author and owner of the copyright of all images entered.
  6. We reserve the right, at our discretion, to disqualify or discount any entrant or image by unfair means.
  7. We reserve the right to change the images used in the final calendar, for editorial reasons.
  8. Since digital photography allows image enhancement, all images can be cropped or enhanced to help with the composition. Panoramic photos or those that are stitched together to make one photo are prohibited.
  9. The competition is open to UK residents only including employees and immediate families of Openfield. Entrants under the age of 16 must have a parent or guardian consent to enter.
  10. To enter please state on your email your name, address and contact telephone number as well as the location (village and county) of the photo and date it was taken.
  11. Openfield will only contact entrants if they are successful with the competition.
  12. All entries should be sent to communications@openfield.co.uk
  13. Understandably some images may be too big to send via email. Therefore, please try WeTransfer and send to the email address provided in point 11.
  14. The competition, for each relevant month, will close five days after the month the entry relates to at midnight GMT. Entries received after this time will not be considered.
  15. Openfield cannot accept responsibility for any problems with the email service which may result in an entry being lost or delayed. When an entry is received an email will be sent back as acknowledgement.
  16. Unsuccessful entrants will not be contacted, and no feedback will be given.
  17. Due to printing deadlines, the last date to enter for the 2020 calendar will be November 5th 2019.

Terms and Conditions

  1. The promoter is Openfield (company no.3548572) whose registered office is at Honey Pot Lane, Colsterworth, Grantham, Lincolnshire, NG33 5LY
  2. The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over except employees of Openfield and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
  3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
  4. Openfield’s decisions about who can take part and the selection of winners is final. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.
  5. The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows:
    1. The entrant must be following @OpenfieldTM on Twitter and retweet the post.
    2. And / or follow us on Instagram and like the post.
  6. By entering the competition, an entrant is indicating that they agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  8. Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be grouped together and classed as one.
  9. The competition will begin at 10am on Friday 30th November 2018.
  10. The closing date for entries will be midnight GMT on Friday 14th December 2018. After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
  11. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
  12. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promotor’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
  13. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
  14. The prize is as follows:
    1. Openfield 2019 Desk Calendar, Openfield Wellie Bag, Openfield Thermal Mug, Aigle wellies – to the value of £150 from the Aigle website and one pair of Tom Lane Alpaca Shooting and Boot Socks.
    2. The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
  15. Winners will be chosen at random by software, from all entries received and verified by promoter and or its agents.
  16. The winner will be notified by email and/or DM on Twitter within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
  17. The winner must provide a UK postal address for delivery of the prizes, which will be made within 14 days of this address being provided.
  18. The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected/is delivered.
  19. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters relating to the competition will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  20. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
  21. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
  22. The winner’s name will be available 28 days after the closing date by emailing the following address: communications@openfield.two3.theweborchard.com
  23. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  24. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Twitter or any other Social Network, or Aigle and Tom Lane. You are providing your information to Openfield and not to any other party. The information provided will be used in conjunction with the following Privacy Policy found at https://www.openfield.co.uk/privacy-statement/
  25. Openfield shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.
  26. Openfield also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.
